These Terms govern your use of bookretreat.yoga ("the site", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
bookretreat.yoga is a discovery platform that connects travelers with independent yoga retreat hosts and teachers. We are not the operator of the retreats listed on the site. Each retreat is run by an independent third-party host. We curate listings, facilitate introductions, and may (in future) facilitate bookings, but we are not a party to the contract between you and the host.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site. By using the site you confirm you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Submitting a "Show Interest" form is not a booking and creates no obligation on your part or ours. It is a request for further information that we share with the host. The host may contact you to provide details, answer questions, or invite you to book directly.
At this time, all bookings are completed directly with the host, on their own terms and conditions. Any payments, cancellations, refunds, or disputes about the retreat itself are matters between you and the host. We are not responsible for the host's conduct or the quality of the retreat.
If and when we introduce on-platform bookings or payments, those features will be governed by additional terms shown to you at the time of booking.
Yoga and retreats can involve physical exertion, dietary changes, and travel. Before attending any retreat:

When you submit content to the site (e.g., an inquiry, a review, a host application), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.
We may, but are not obligated to, review or remove content that violates these Terms.
If you connect with a host or teacher through our site, you agree not to deliberately circumvent the platform to avoid fees that we may charge in the future. Hosts who repeatedly take introductions off-platform may be removed from the site.
The site's design, code, copy, and curated content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Photos contributed by hosts remain the property of the host (or their licensor). You may not copy, modify, or distribute site content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial browsing.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will be accurate or complete.
We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, any retreat, host, teacher, or third-party content listed on the site.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or substitute services — arising from your use of the site or any retreat booked through it.
Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your interaction with a host.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, for any reason, with or without notice — for example, if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the site at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of [JURISDICTION], except where applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
